Solid wood grain, smooth edges, and a fit that feels like it was always there.
We build custom cabinets in Woodland Park for kitchens, bathrooms, and offices. From the first selection of boards to the final sanding, every piece gets a full shop visit before it touches your wall.

The machine is fast. The hand is right.
We use modern tools to cut clean and early. Then we switch to old methods for the joinery, the fit, and the final surface. It's slower that way. But it's better.
Precision cutting, then hand joinery
CNC cuts the parts square. Dovetails and mortise-and-tenon are still cut by eye. One informs the other.

Solid woods, chosen by grain
Pine, walnut, maple, cherry. We pick each board for its figure and stability, not its price per foot.

Veneers with purpose
Flat-cut or rift-sawn. Book-matched or slip-matched. The right veneer adds stability and beauty where solid wood can't go.
Hand-finished, not sprayed-and-go
Oil, lacquer, or wax. Applied in thin coats, sanded between, and rubbed out by hand until the surface feels right.

Built for Woodland Park’s climate
Wide temperature swings mean wood moves. We account for expansion and contraction in every joint and gap.

One shop, one builder, one satisfied customer at a time
Every piece leaves our Woodland Park shop with the same hands that shaped it. Here is what a few people have said after living with the work.
The custom kitchen cabinets fit like they were grown in the room. Every drawer opens smooth. No gaps. No shims. That is the kind of work you do not find anymore.

Rebecca T.
Homeowner, Woodland Park
I brought in rough sketches on graph paper. The team turned them into a built-in bookshelf that looks like it has been part of the house for a hundred years. The joinery is that good.

Daniel M.
Architect, Colorado Springs
We needed a large conference table that could handle daily use and still look like something. Maple top, solid legs, hand-finished. A year in and it still looks the way it did the day it was installed.

Furniture built by one pair of hands
From a walnut desk for your home office to a solid maple dining table, each piece starts as rough lumber and leaves the shop ready to live in.

How did a Woodland Park wood shop get its start?
Lundell Capentry Work Inc began when one builder decided every piece of wood deserved a careful hand and a second look. The shop grew from a single workbench into a full-service shop turning local lumber into cabinets, furniture, and built-ins for homes in Woodland Park and beyond.
